Successful Participation in Trade Fairs in 2005

In the past year, SCHAAF GmbH & Co. KG has been an exhibitor at two trade fairs. While SCHAAF products connected with steel production took centre stage at the “CONAC 2005” in Mexico, at the “Kormarine” in South Korea, it was products of major significance for the shipbuilding industry.

Many visitors to the “CONAC 2005” from the North and South American steel industries showed particular interest in the A-LOC axial roll-ring locking system and in EcoRolls, the cost-reducing compound rolls used in wire production. Since then, SCHAAF GmbH & Co. KG has received numerous specific inquiries from this economic area.
The purpose of participating in the “Kormarine” in South Korea was to increase familiarity with SCHAAF GmbH & Co. KG and its products as supplier to the shipbuilding industry. The great interest shown by visitors to the trade fair in ExpaTen Bolts for the optimum connection of large drive shafts, as well as in Bolt Tensioners and Hydraulic Nuts from the SCHAAF product range, shows that this purpose was more than achieved. In order to maintain and further develop the very good contacts to the Korean shipbuilding industry, SCHAAF GmbH & Co. KG was able to acquire the “TIMAX Engineering Co.” in South Korea as sales agent.
