Hydraulic Nut PG 11
The distinguishing feature of the Hydraulic Nuts of product group 11 is that the axial pretensioning force is produced by a differential piston and is maintained by a separate mechanical lock nut arrangement and that the hydraulic pressure may be realised.

Main Features

  • single-stage
  • also used to generate axial displacement forces
  • pressure cylinder and nut part (traction and locking nut) are separate
  • mechanical locking
  • differential piston

Advantages of PG
  • smaller outer diameter than PG 10
  • for recessed bolt thread
  • larger stroke than PG 9 and 10
  • high pre-tensioning force with small outer diameter
  • stable piston guidance
  • pre-tensioning force is maintained without pressure

Examples of Applications
  • plant construction
  • mining
  • press construction
  • anchoring bolts

More Hydraulic Nuts

We distinguish our Hydraulic Nuts into 5 different product groups (designs)
which, in principle, have all the same function.
