Thanks to the friction-enhancing measures, a 2.5-fold safety is achieved.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of delivery of the second order included both GripLoc couplings and ExpaTen bolts along with the associated equipment for three RORO container ships. Here, too, it is a matter of connecting the power trains by means of GripLoc couplings. Furthermore, thanks to the best possible coordination of the components with each other, use could be made of all the advantages of the SCHAAF products so that only one hydraulic nut is necessary for the assembly of the various GripLoc couplings. In addition, several flange connections were carried out using SCHAAF ExpaTen bolts.
