SCHAAF GripLoc & SCHAAF ExpaTen for luxury cruise ship
SCHAAF GripLoc and SCHAAF ExpaTen successfully establish themselves more and more in ship technology, and therfore, shipping and ship building will soon be unthinkable without.
Proof for that is the launching of the luxury cruise ship „Seabourne Encore“ at the Italian Fincantieri yard in Marghera short time ago. „Seabourne Encore“ belongs to the shipowning company Carnival Corp. and was equipped with the optimal shaft and axle connection SCHAAF GripLoc combined with SCHAAF ExpaTen Bolts.
This grandeur ship with its RT of 40,350 has enough room for 600 guests and delivery is planned for the end of 2016. The maiden voyage in December shall lead the guests to the South Seas, Southeast Asia, Arabia and India. The ceremonial ship’s christening is planned to be held on 07 January 2017 in Singapore. Afterwards, the „Seabourne Encore“ will leave immediately towards Bali.
Now already, SCHAAF can proudly prepare for equipping the sister ship of „Seabourne Encore“, with its start of construction right afterwards.
