Over the last few weeks, SCHAAF has been able to successfully demonstrate the service life of the SCHAAF GripCon. 14 million Nm of torque can be generated with the test rig designed and manufactured by SCHAAF. The 36 built-in SCHAAF GripCon were able to successfully transfer this extreme torque. Both the servicelife and the maximum occurring load were tested. Thanks to the GripCon, there are proven enormous performance and material saving potentials in drive train connections of windturbines.
