In 2013, SCHAAF has received the order from Rolls-Royce AB, Sweden, to provide ships with ExpaTen bolts. In 2013 the two large passenger ships „Mein Schiff 3“ (see picture) and „Mein Schiff 4“ were equipped with ExpaTen bolts as well as one patrol ship. These ships are forwarded in different waters and therefore, they are controlled by various classification societies. With regard to this matter, the good collaboration of SCHAAF with several shipbuilding classification societies is a huge advantage. Due to products like ExpaTen bolts and GripLoc couplings, SCHAAF is in close contact with the established classification societies and can guarantee short reaction times.
